A very sad day.

I think we all knew it was inevitable that this day was coming and that Tameside Council had no intentions of saving it, but at least we tried. :(

It will be such a loss, at least there will be pictures of this chapel available for the future.

How sad to hear.
This church has been a comfort to many people over the years. Shame on Tameside Council for not saving it.
Great painting of it !
