Hyde Name Origins.

The name "HYDE" is derived from the hide, a measure of land for taxation purposes, taken to be that area of land necessary to support a peasant family. In later times it was taken to be equivalent to 120 acres .

View from a Hill

A telephoto shot from the Low which shows how clear the Powerhouse Gym sign is from up there.
I love this shot - It looks like a model village  :)

Many Thanks, Werneth Low :)

A great shot, but the thing that amazes me and I'd never appreciated before, is just how many trees there are. Looking at that picture it almost seems that Hyde is surrounded by forest.
