On the opposite side is a footpath follow it up a while until it come to a farm gate and stile.. the gate is a great place to rest your camera .. good views of the airport as well can be seen from there.Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04167792394551286975noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8599481671908734427.post-87411917087243523392012-02-21T16:41:16.431+00:002012-02-21T16:41:16.431+00:00I think the best way of showing you the viewpoint ...I think the best way of showing you the viewpoint for the shots of Jodrell Bank is to tell you to look on Google Earth at that part of the path leading from the end of Lord Derby Road just before it meets Hillside Road at the far end. You will see that there is a cluster of buildings to the South-East of the path and there is a path leading at right-angles from the Lord Derby Road path to the first of these buildings. It's at this point where the paths meet that I took the photos - if you look towards Hillside Road, more or less straight along the line of the path, you can see Jodrell Bank on the horizon on a clear day. It's best to go in the morning rather than later in the day as the sun will have moved across by the afternoon and made it difficult to see, particularly if you want to take a photo.Dave Williamsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8599481671908734427.post-6765251335433662942012-02-21T08:29:08.621+00:002012-02-21T08:29:08.621+00:00Thanks Dave for these amazing shots.
