Zion Congregational Church

Zion Congregational Church

I love the woman with the shawl on the corner of Peel Street. I also like the fancy ironwork that used to adorn the front wall of the church - this was ,I assume , removed and collected for the war effort.
I wonder what the horse and cart was delivering?

Photo is thought to be circa 1900.

  1. Great image... I had to zoom in on this one... the woman with the shawl and her little ones look like rabbits caught in the head lights... I also got a better look at the horse with it's head turned to look at the man. Like I said before.. great image Nancy..
