  1. Fantastic stuff...
I went into the building that is on the corner of Edna and Henry Street in the 1980s, it was then an engineering work-shop and it might still be. In side were still traces of the Grammar School and the old chap who took my order was more than pleased to be able to point them out. There was a row coat pegs, a cupboard, but the best was the 'school masters desk' which was still used daily.
My oldest brother went to Hyde Grammar and I recall going to sports days that were held on the 'big field'.

  2. Schools are a great source of names to research. "What ever happened to . . . .". I try to locate old school friends from time to time. It is easier to ask my friend Lynne, who has always lived in the old neighbourhood (except for the three years she lived in Yorkshire, England) and seem to know everyone we went to school with.

  3. Hello Philip... I was only thinking about you this afternoon.... I had a friend round who attended the last service at one of our local Churches.. St Stephens.. I recalled you once commented on a picture I once posted on my Wiggers World blog.

Lacks a reference to Jack Grundy the latin teacher in the 1930s who gave his name to the pupil he married Katherine Grundy, who became Lady Mayoress and of whose murder Harold Shipman was originally charged

  10. Step 2: Select your external hard drive from the list of hardware.

Life - Hacker says installation is a snap. The external drives that are attached
to your computer and properly recognized are listed in
    the left pane.
