Who remembers the salted peanuts? The nuts were roasting under a light and when you bought some the grease which soaked through the bag was unbelievable. I liked the light bulb counted where bulbs were sold individually and tested in a socket at the back of the counter by the assistant. Good old Woollies.

I think the 'Pick and Mix' was excellent... and the shop itself was very good... I grew up with it and was sad to see it go.
