I live in Brisbane and read the blog everyday, its a ritual now as I love it and its contents. love the team too. so sorry to hear that you won't be able to continue writing the blog for everyone to enjoy. my thoughts are with you and hope that your situation is son better. your loyal fan Kathleen . kath@pacenterprises.com.au
My thoughts are with the team too, they do a marvellous job, there must be a fair bit of work involved in getting items ready for the blog, but what ever happens, The Hydonian blog must carry on, it means a lot to us Hydonians and all the expats around the World. I have recently come across some old cine films that belonged to my dad Len Garbett, I have given them to my eldest daughter and she and her partner are going through the films at the moment, up to now they have found one that was filmed in the 60s and shows Market St and Garbetts shoe shop,I have yet to see the film myself, but they say it is great to see what Hyde looked like back then and to see the old cars, there may be more film on Hyde, when they have gone through all the cine films, I will report back to you Tom. All the best to you and your great team.
Thank you for commenting.. we appreciate your input. The comments are a great source of information, and they let Nancy, Dave, Paul and myself know the blog is being looked at... If you would like to contact us by email please do so at hydonian@gmail.com
I hope this doesn't mean the end of it because there must be people out here who would be happy to take it on. Me for one.
