This has always been one of my favourite pubs.. worked there for 3 different landlords, doing bar work or looking after the door. It's always had good landlords... and still has today with Wayne and Sharon. Long may this pub carry on trading.
Interesting that the article refers to the Queen's with an apostrophe and mentions three separate queens after which it could have been named. Now there is no apostrophe in the name and the sign depicts the six wives of Henry VIII hence the Queens.
