Architecturally it's not changed, but the exterior used to be blue beams, yellow panels, when it was a pub. I also remember in the late 80's it used to have an hexagonal pool table.
My wife and I had our wedding reception in the Bankfield on 27th May 1967. Although I came from Holland, I do remember the pub and have good memories of Hyde. Great times in Hyde including finding a 9" mortar bomb in my garden at Lodge Lane! Karl and Carol Blom

The Bankfield was my local in the early to mid 1980s, i remember they had a 50 pence shaped pool table for away. Yet another pub gone
