HYDE CEMETERY CHAPEL UPDATE

Just to let everyone know that this lovely old building is on the demolition list and is due to come down soon.

when i worked for tameside council as a gardener in the early 80s i worked in hyde cemetery doing all the lawns in the entrance and flower beds and one of my jobs was when there was a funeral using this chapel i had to go in the cellar and light the old coke boiler for the central heating and sometimes it wouldnt light ha ha a lovely building though thanks for posting

This building is a little gem and Nancy as been trying to save it for a while now, it would be such a shame if it was to bite the dust...
