This photograph was taken 7 or 8 years ago when it was still open for business.
And here it is just over a month ago.

Hyde Pubs 1975 (46)

This is the photograph taken 7 or 8 years ago when the pub had already closed.
In February 2011 the building had found a new occupant.....
..... though traces of its original life remained.
And just over a month ago those new occupants were still there.

Hyde Pubs 1975 (42)

I don't know when the Oddfellows closed, but this is what it looked like 7 or 8 years ago.
It's not changed much since.

Hyde Pubs 1975 (40)

The Commercial shut down some time in the 1990s, but the building's still there opposite the end of Commercial Street.

Addendum 18 July 2016:
This is presumably the photograph referred to above of old John Woolley that was in the snug of the Commercial. It was another of the cuttings that was in the scrapbook with the stoories of all the pubs.

Here it is up for sale some 7 or 8 years ago - the 'For Sale' sign says 'Price Reduced'.
And here it is a month ago.
