St Thomas the Apostle

A lovely old postcard of St Thomas's Church on Lumn Road.

The church was built in 1868.
I am happy to say that it is still open although the congregation is much smaller than it used to be. I suppose this is a sign of the times.

The graveyard was declared full during the 1950s.

More history can be found here.

Thank you.

Does anyone know if Grover Parks is buried in S.Thomas's church yard?

Grover Parks died about 1874 in Crewe and was brought back to Hyde for burial
