Room with a View

This fab shot was taken from Chartist House - looks like from the top floor to me !!
It shows Hyde Uniteds Ewen Fields before it turned blue and became the home to Hyde FC !!
Notice Walls Factory (Kerry Foods) behind and Hattersley in the distance !

Thanks to Elsie D for sharing with us :)

Didn't EwenFields look lovely before that mob from Eastlands got their grubby paws on it ???
How stupid to have your ground painted blue when your clubs colours are red!!!

If it had not been for the mob from Eastlands we probably would even have a football club in Hyde to paint red, blue, pink, green, or anyother colour. It was the solicitors of the mob from Eastlands who helped Hyde win promotion instead of Farsely a few years back. Also, over £9,000 was collected at Eastlands to save the club from ruin a couple of years back. The colour will return to red when the contract with City runs out in the next year or so, as will the name Hyde United. Good night Nancy.
