Godley Hall Inn Drawing

This is from the book  'OLD GODLEY' by Thomas Middleton.. I can't make out the artist so can't give them credit.. It got me thinking of the artist that Hyde as produced.. More so the drawings and paintings of our Town.. If you have any or copies of any can you send a picture of them in to our email address. I think it would make a neat addition to the blog.
All the best to you all
Tom

There use to be a very famous artist called "Killroy" in Hyde, his work could be seen in the old toilets on Greenfield Street. He certainly had a talent for human anatomy.

Hi Colin
I've studied his work a few time myself.. :O)

Look's like Mr.Kilroy was Hyde's best known artist, or perhaps the people of Hyde have no interest in art and culture.

Hope that's said tongue in cheek, Karen. Hyde has produced many fine artists and there are many people in the town with an interest in art and culture.
