Whilst browsing through Ebay I can across a fantastic collection of 97 Original photographs from Joseph Adamson & Co Ltd, Boiler Makers Hyde.. These are superb, showing the inside of the works, the pictures measure around 8.25 by 6.5 inches, they depict all aspect of the production line, with many of the workers in shot. The company boilers of of all types and shipped worldwide
At
the time these were taken the company was part of the Adamson
Alliance group who also owned the Horsehay works in what is now
Telford. Some of the photographs are 'caption' of the back, and a
number have been mounted on card.

Thx for uploading..i served my time there 1965 to 1971..there used to be a guy who was in charge of the stores (which is still standing) who was always out on the shop floor with his twin lens Reflex on a tripod photographing just about EVERYTHING! I wonder where all those pics are now?.all 60s stuff..theres none here so im presuming his family may have the negatives!
