Hyde Pubs 1975 (6)

It's not changed much since 1975 except for the garden at the front.....
.....and on the chimney stack.

Great post, so full of history.

Architecturally it's not changed, but the exterior used to be blue beams, yellow panels, when it was a pub.
I also remember in the late 80's it used to have an hexagonal pool table.

My wife and I had our wedding reception in the Bankfield on 27th May 1967.
Although I came from Holland, I do remember the pub and have good memories of Hyde.
Great times in Hyde including finding a 9" mortar bomb in my garden at Lodge Lane!

The Bankfield was my local in the early to mid 1980s, i remember they had a 50 pence shaped pool table for away. Yet another pub gone
