Thanks Christine & Tom for this post, it makes interesting reading. So the visitors centre was opened 36 years ago this month, wow, haven't the years flown by. We are so lucky to have our amazing Werneth Low country park right here on our doorstep. It's wonderful!
Don't forget 11/11/2018 a 100 years since the end of WW1 and there will be a service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph at 12 noon. www.hwmt.org the names of the 710 Men of Hyde remembered on the Cenotaph
