Hyde Name Origins.

The name "HYDE" is derived from the hide, a measure of land for taxation purposes, taken to be that area of land necessary to support a peasant family. In later times it was taken to be equivalent to 120 acres .

'Hot Dogs'

Hey don't even go there Tom.

I came home from Ashton one night with a dodgy kebab...that kebab was the only takeaway that came through our front door, that our old dog didn't eat...which got me thinking the morning after..."What on earth was in it?"

Does make you wonder :-X

Hi Ian...
When I see you next remind me to tell you of the place in Rusholme that makes and supplies the kebabs for 'Kebab shops'. I've never had one since nor will I ever again ..
