Hyde Name Origins.

The name "HYDE" is derived from the hide, a measure of land for taxation purposes, taken to be that area of land necessary to support a peasant family. In later times it was taken to be equivalent to 120 acres .

Awww happy memories for me,seeing this.
We used to call him the headless soldier when we were young on the account that his head was often knocked off by the youths of the day and the drunks after a heavt session.
I'm glad to see he is intact again !
