Hyde Name Origins.

The name "HYDE" is derived from the hide, a measure of land for taxation purposes, taken to be that area of land necessary to support a peasant family. In later times it was taken to be equivalent to 120 acres .

Boo! Thank you all for your messages.. I writing this from Tameside Hospital on Janes laptop. Wednesday night I suffered a heart attack.. not to bad at he moment ... just very tired. I await transfer to Wythenshaw Hospital for further test.. I will try to keep you posted.. thank you all again

I'm doing fine, each day sees me being a bit dafter than the one before and being more of a pain to my long suffering Jane.. ha!
