I used to like the chippy on Newton Street. It had a step leading up to the front door. Can anyone remeber the name of it?

No14 Newton Street was a Fish & Chip shop, quite a few years back.
1934 was Gerrards, 1928 was Parkers & 1914 was Richards.

I'm not 100% sure on this but I seem to recall the Grimshaws had a chippy there... it was their son Trevor Grimshaw the artist who was feature on here a week or so back. I'll try to find out more on that.

thank you for clearing that up... I knew I'd heard or Trevor had mentioned his dads cafe... As soon as I read 'cafe' I remembered it as so.
