I learned to drive with Willamson's around 1963/64. I seem to recall that their car was a Triumph Herald and lessons were 15 shillings an hour. Gee Cross was the ideal practising place for hill starts!
Looking at Smith"s advert, I don't think you would be dealing in 2nd hand guns and swords these days!
Yes it was a Triumph Herald, the fins on the back were a great help, if you lined one of them up with the kerb when reversing round corners you always got it right
